Service 01

Food Manufacturing Waste Oil Collection

This service is built for food manufacturers, processors, co-packers and industrial kitchens generating consistent volume from production runs—not a single restaurant fryer, but ongoing output from fryer lines, kettles, rendering equipment and filtration systems.

Service can run on a standing schedule arranged around your production calendar, helping pickups take place between shifts or ahead of a changeover rather than during a live run. Equipment is matched to your output: drums and totes for moderate volume, or fixed tanks and pump-outs for larger operations, with placement planned around dock access and sanitation windows.

Some facilities need weekly or biweekly service, while continuous-production sites may need a route frequent enough to keep containers from reaching capacity between stops. Once your facility has steady, recurring volume, a scheduled program provides a more predictable alternative to arranging occasional pickups.

Service 02

Removal of Grease Waste

This service is for material that has cooled, congealed or solidified by the time it is ready for pickup—such as grease trays, filter cake, hardened shortening and rendered animal fat—as distinct from liquid oil that can still be moved in a caddy.

Solid and semi-solid fryer waste behaves differently from liquid oil. It cannot simply be poured, it uses container volume quickly and, when stored poorly, can create odor, pest and housekeeping problems. Sealed collection bins can be sized around the way your kitchen or plant produces material, from a single fryer station to multiple lines generating tallow, lard and shortening on different schedules.

Restaurants, hotels, commissaries and food plants with high-turnover fryer operations often combine grease-waste removal with recurring fryer-oil pickup. Coordinating the liquid and solid sides of the same waste stream can simplify storage and reduce the need for separate service visits.

Service 03

Oil Storage Container Service

The right container is the foundation of a dependable collection route. Matching storage capacity to actual output helps prevent a kitchen or plant from running out of room between pickups—or carrying more capacity than the operation needs.

Options range from sealed indoor caddies for tight kitchen spaces, to lidded outdoor bins for shared enclosures, and drums, IBC totes or fixed tanks for higher-volume operations. Placement takes kitchen flow, loading-dock access, truck access and the number of gallons produced between scheduled stops into account.

A setup walkthrough can help your team understand what belongs in the container and what must stay out. Water, cleaning chemicals and food solids can reduce oil quality and affect whether material qualifies for recycling or purchasing. When output changes because of a new fryer line, seasonal demand or a slower period, container capacity and pickup frequency can be reevaluated.

One-time and large-volume projects

Service 04

Bulk Oil Disposal

Unlike recurring route service, bulk oil disposal is commonly a one-time or infrequent project: clearing a warehouse before a lease change, removing recalled or out-of-code inventory, handling surplus product a distributor no longer needs, or moving virgin oil that passed its shelf-life window before reaching a kitchen.

Removal can be planned by the drum, pallet, tote or tanker load and scaled from a small group of pallets to a larger warehouse clearance. The Grease Co works with food plants, warehouses, third-party logistics providers, distributors and transport companies, scheduling around loading-dock access and site-specific sanitation or safety requirements.

Pickup records support waste, quality and internal compliance files. If a bulk project includes material that may still qualify for purchase, it is evaluated separately according to volume, quality, condition, contamination, packaging, access and transportation needs. Payment is not guaranteed before that evaluation.

Service 05

Used Cooking Oil Recycling

Qualifying used cooking oil can be routed through approved recycling and rendering channels instead of being sent to landfill or poured into drains, where it can obstruct plumbing and create discharge problems.

Whether oil is suitable for a recovery stream depends heavily on how it is stored before pickup. Water, cleaning chemicals and food solids can reduce recycling value and affect what The Grease Co is able to pay for qualifying material. A short setup walkthrough covering what belongs in the container—and what does not—can help prevent avoidable contamination.

Written or digital collection records can help facilities document volume and service history for internal sustainability reporting, franchise requirements, property management files or inspection requests. Recycling support can accompany a regular collection route or be discussed for an existing oil-management program.

Recurring kitchen service

Service 06

Fryer Oil Pickup

This is the recurring service most commercial kitchens begin with. Sealed indoor caddies or outdoor bins are selected to match the kitchen's fryer-oil change cycle, whether oil is changed nightly, weekly or on a schedule shaped by fryer count and customer volume.

Kitchen output rarely stays perfectly flat. An extra stop can be discussed when volume rises beyond the normal schedule, while seasonal and event-driven increases—such as hotel banquets, stadium weekends or holiday demand—can be planned into service frequency. Container placement is based on practical kitchen and service access.

Restaurant, hospitality and institutional accounts can add grease-waste removal for solid fryer byproducts, recycling records for qualifying liquid oil, or bulk disposal when expired and surplus inventory falls outside the normal fryer cycle.

Grease trap & interceptor support

While our primary focus is oil and grease collection, we also support customers with grease trap and interceptor services through the broader TGC operation.

“We were preparing for our restaurant's opening the next day and our drains backed up... 8pm, we were a bit desperate. We called one plumber, but his efforts did not go far enough. Our grease trap at the interceptor was blocked solid.”
