A recoverable commodity

Responsible recycling protects your facility and preserves value.

Used cooking oil is more than a material to discard. For restaurants, food manufacturers, commercial kitchens, hotels, casinos, stadiums, malls and grocery operations, a planned recycling program reduces handling risks and creates a dependable path for recovery.

Oil that is kept separate from water, food solids, chemicals and grease-trap waste can be processed for approved downstream uses, including renewable-fuel feedstocks and other recovered products. Qualification and value depend on the material, volume, quality, location and current market conditions.

Why recycling cooking oil matters

Keeping cooking oil in a controlled collection system helps prevent avoidable facility and environmental problems.

Protect drains and waterways

Keeps fats, oils and grease out of plumbing, sewer systems and stormwater paths.

Reduce operating risks

Helps limit overflows, odors, slip hazards, pest activity and emergency cleanup.

Support material recovery

Creates a cleaner feedstock for renewable-fuel and other approved recovery channels.

Reduce avoidable waste

Moves recyclable food-grade oil away from ordinary trash and landfill disposal.

Keep service predictable

Recurring routes reduce container buildup and employee handling between pickups.

Maintain useful records

Applicable pickups include service records for internal waste and sustainability files.

What we evaluate

More than restaurant fryer oil

We review liquid, semi-solid and solid food-grade fats from kitchen service and commercial inventory. Tell us if the material is used, virgin, expired, off-spec, damaged or mixed-format.

Sealed restaurant bin for collecting recyclable fryer oil
  • Used cooking oil and yellow grease
  • Fryer oil and vegetable oil
  • Soybean, canola and avocado oil
  • Palm, corn and blended cooking oils
  • Expired, surplus and off-spec food-grade oil
  • Lard, tallow and shortening
  • Virgin and unused food-grade oils
  • Packaged oil in drums, totes, pallets and cases

Do not mix recycling oil with trap waste.

Water, cleaners, chemicals, food solids, motor oil and grease-interceptor waste can reduce recoverable volume or make a load ineligible. Keep the container closed and use it only for approved food-grade oils.

Containers, minimums and service options

We match the collection method to your volume, storage area and operating schedule.

Recurring pickup

Available for operations producing at least 40 gallons. Route frequency is set around actual storage capacity and access.

One-time pickup

Loads under 300 gallons carry a service charge. Loads at or above 300 gallons are reviewed for collection and potential value.

Storage formats

We handle suitable indoor or outdoor bins, drums, IBC totes and tanks. Palletized or packaged oil is evaluated before dispatch.

Customer delivery

Deliveries of at least 300 gallons may be accepted by appointment after material, container and receiving details are confirmed.

Clear collection records

Service documentation for your files

Applicable collections include service records documenting the pickup. Waste manifests and destruction letters are available when the material and removal require them. Tell us about your recordkeeping needs before scheduling so the correct paperwork can be confirmed.
